About the Role We are seeking talented engineers to join our team in developing cutting-edge continuous integration and delivery infrastructure for the X platform. Ideal candidates will have experience building complex systems or possess hands-on expertise with large monorepos and distributed build systems. What You’ll Do Optimize Bazel build speed vertically and horizontally Optimize internal language compilers  Scale out CI for increasing engineering demands  Write custom IDE plugins Rewrite and modernize services and technologies  Who You Are 3+ years of industry experience working on complex engineering problems. Experienced in designing scalable, reliable systems for internal use. Experienced in Bazel Interview Process After submitting your application, the team reviews your CV and statement of exceptional work. If your application passes this stage, you will be invited to a 15-minute phone screening with a member of the team. If you clear that interview, you will enter the main process, which consists of four steps: Coding assessment in a language of your choice. Coding assessment in a language of your choice. Project deep-dive: Present your past exceptional work to a small audience. Meet & Greet with the wider team. Our goal is to finish the main process within one week. There will be at least one in-person interview. Location The role is based in Palo Alto. Candidates are expected to be located near the Bay Area or open to relocation.
